"Director, Professional Learning Services - Northwest OH Region"

The Professional Learning Services (PLS) Director for the Northwest Region has oversight of professional development offerings in the northwest counties of Ohio. The position will service 25 counties in this region. This position works in accordance with established Ashland University policies and procedures under the supervision of the PLS Executive Director.

• Works with the Executive Director of PLS to promote, develop, and provide leadership to the assigned geographic area's professional development activities.
• Meets with school administrators, teachers, and other service providers to determine needs for site-specific graduate credit.
• Assists in recruiting qualified professional development adjunct professors.
• Completes necessary contractual arrangements with school district officers.
• Registers professional development class participants.
• Completes all required reports pertaining to PLS.
• Performs other such reasonable duties as assigned by the PLS Executive Director.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree required.
• A strong background in professional development is essential.
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to make decisions.
• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Able to travel is required to meet University obligations.
