Class Description

The E-Content and Discovery Librarian provides leadership for developing and assessing the CCBC Librarys electronic collections. The E-Content and Discovery Librarian will have broad responsibilities in collections management, including assessment, record keeping and communication and outreach. This position works closely with library collections, systems, and cataloging.

The E-Content and Discovery Librarian also provides reference service on the information desk, participates in formal and informal information literacy instruction, and serves as a liaison to a CCBC school for collection development, instructional content, and outreach.

Minimum Requirements

REQUIRED:

Master's degree in library science from an American Library Association accredited institution required. Two year of relevant experience.

PREFERRED:

Community college experience preferrable. Experience preferred in a professional academic library.
