Early Intervention Therapist - Occupational Therapist
The Institute of Human Development's (IHD) Growing in Beauty Partnership Program (GIBPP) is seeking an occupational therapist to provide early intervention services to children birth to three and their families with developmental delays or disabilities. This position requires travel to the Navajo Nation and includes community and home visits.
Responsibilities Include:
- Direct Client Services: Respond to training and technical assistance needs, work with families to develop goals, provide occupational therapy interventions, and travel to family homes.
- Evaluation: Work with programs to provide eligibility evaluations, administer assessments, and identify developmental delays.
- Administration: Write reports and notes, assist with project objectives, and comply with regulations.
- Community Engagement: Collaborate with projects, promote relationships, and engage in professional development.
- Other: Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in occupational therapy, 5 years of relevant experience, and licensure in Arizona or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications: OTD in Occupational Therapy, experience with pediatric populations, and experience with tribal populations.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of occupational therapy topics, skills in communication and organization, and abilities in collaboration and cultural humility.
Compensation: Salary range begins at $77,871 annually.
