Full-Time Faculty, Occupational Therapy Assistant Program (Academic Fieldwork Coordinator)
The Health Professions Division is seeking a faculty/academic fieldwork position responsible for all aspects of fieldwork as outlined by ACOTE standards. Teaches OTA courses, facilitates learning, and collaborates with faculty and community agencies. Essential functions include curriculum design, strategic planning, student advising, and ensuring program compliance with fieldwork requirements. Responsibilities involve locating and evaluating fieldwork sites, scheduling student placements, monitoring progress, and maintaining communication with fieldwork educators. Additional duties include participating in college meetings, curriculum development, program evaluation, and professional development.
Job Requirements: Baccalaureate degree, five years of clinical practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, two years as a Fieldwork Educator, NBCOT certification, current MA license, and at least two years of teaching experience. Preferred: Membership in AOTA and MAOT.
