Engineer in Research Intermediate

- Upgrade and maintenance of two high fidelity vacuum chambers at the Plasmadynamics and Electric Propulsion Laboratory.
- Testing support for electric propulsion system under USSF and DARPA programs
- Conducting independent engineering and research projects
- Design and fabrication of electric propulsion hardware
- B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics
- Funding source requires U.S. citizenship
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in electric propulsion laboratory is preferred
This is a 100% effort (40 hours per week) one year term limited position with possibility to extend.
