Job Summary: The Engineering Doctorate (EngD) in Designer in Bioprocess Engineering at Delft University of Technology is a two-year program that prepares candidates for careers in biotech. Responsibilities: Participate in mandatory courses on economic evaluation, project management, and advanced topics like fermentation technology; contribute to a group design project; work on an individual design project in collaboration with biotech industry partners; develop skills in process implementation, independence, creativity, and critical thinking.
Qualifications: Must hold an MSc degree in (Bio-)Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Environmental or Food Technology, or a comparable field, with excellent academic results; demonstrate an interdisciplinary attitude, interest in technology application in industry, and team skills.
Requirements: Excellent English proficiency; open, creative mind; critical attitude; top academic performance; ability to work in a competitive, multicultural team; for non-native English speakers, evidence of proficiency via TOEFL iBT (overall 100) or IELTS (overall 7.0).
