Enrollment Counselor, Workforce & Economic Development
Bunker Hill Community College seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented Enrollment Counselor to manage enrollment operations and student data integrity within Workforce Development. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate and timely student registration, maintaining clean and audit-ready enrollment data, coordinating class logistics, and tracking post-training employment outcomes. The Enrollment Counselor plays a key operational role in meeting enrollment targets, maintaining compliance with grant requirements, and improving registration turnaround and employment follow-up rates. The ideal candidate is process-driven, systems-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a structured, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage student registration from intake through completion, ensuring accurate enrollment records and class rosters.
- Maintain and update student data in institutional systems (e.g., CRM, Colleague, Elevate) to meet reporting and compliance requirements.
- Monitor enrollment levels and coordinate scheduling updates with instructors and program staff.
- Serve as the primary administrative contact for students and instructors regarding registration and class logistics.
- Track employment outcomes for program completers, including job placement, wages, and retention.
- Support program operations, including workshops, meetings, and occasional evening or weekend activities.
- Attend staff meetings and support college-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or closely related field; with two (2) years experience and/or training involving college enrollment, customer relations, or office administration; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience managing administrative processes and maintaining data accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail with experience maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience working with student information systems or CRM platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual platforms.
- Commitment to equity and supporting diverse student populations.
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred).
- Experience with Colleague, Elevate, Handshake, Salesforce, Target X, or similar systems.
- Experience in grant-funded workforce or training programs.
