About the Role
Reporting to the Clinical Academic Lead: Horizon Hospital Health Service, you will be responsible for providing clinical education services to the Academic Unit’s (Simulated) Horizon Hospital and Health Service (HHHS), in the conduct of simulated / situational clinical learning for students enrolled in the undergraduate Nursing and Midwifery program.

Essential Skills and Experience
Bachelor of Nursing and/or Bachelor of Midwifery with postgraduate qualifications and significant current post registration clinical experience, in a variety of clinical settings with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Demonstrated expertise, knowledge and commitment to contemporary nursing practice and motivation to maintain clinical skills in the discipline
Thorough understanding of the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards including their integration within clinical practice
High-level organisational, problem solving, and analytical skills including the ability to obtain and interpret relevant information and make specific recommendations to senior staff where appropriate
Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and communication skills and experience in liaison, negotiation, and conflict resolution with a broad range of people internal and external to the organisation to achieve specific outcomes
