Job Summary:

The Event Assistant – LOVB Volleyball will support the Baxter Arena Event Services team in delivering high-quality experiences for all LOVB volleyball home matches and related events. This hands-on role includes event preparation, setup, execution, tear-down, and guest services throughout the volleyball season.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with all LOVB volleyball home matches, including event setup, in-game operations, and post-event responsibilities.
• Assist with event setups, equipment needs, and logistical planning.
• Assist with oversight of event staff
• Coordinate and execute small-scale events, serving as the on-site event point of contact.
• Provide exceptional guest services, including assisting at the front reception desk as needed and answering emails and phone calls
• Support preparation for other large-scale events at Baxter Arena and Maverick Park
• Work evenings and weekends as required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic event environments
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Capable of lifting, moving, and setting up event-related equipment
• Reliable, professional, and adaptable to changing priorities
