Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC, Carpentry, Painting, Plumbing, and/or Electrical.
- Ability to work independently or on a team.
- Moderate to heavy lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work on your feet for long periods of time.
License/Certification Required
Essential Job Functions
The housing facilities technician will assist the University Housing Maintenance Department with routine and preventative maintenance including: HVAC, Carpentry, Painting, Plumbing, and/or Electrical.
This position requires moderate to heavy lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation, and the ability to work around dust, latex paint, and odors.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years maintenance experience in industrial, commercial, or residential HVAC, Carpentry, Painting, Plumbing, and/or Electrical.
Work Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Position dates: October 1, 2025 - May 31, 2026
