Sr Business Analyst - Clinic Occupational Health - FT Days
Position Summary: The incumbent will join the Occupational Health team and be crucial in supporting the whole UCI Enterprise organization, which includes UCI Health, Health Sciences, and Campus/University. This position will be responsible for assisting in the configuration and system maintenance of the department's electronic health record (EHR) system, Enterprise Health, ensuring system usability, data accuracy, providing help desk support, troubleshooting system issues, and managing mass data uploads, as well as other technical needs within the Occupational Health department. The ideal candidate will be able to learn department processes and procedures quickly, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and have a passion for healthcare IT support. The role will be critical in ensuring smooth operations, data integrity, and user experience satisfaction with the EHR system and other technical tools used in Occupational Health.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of healthcare, IT standards, regulations, and best practices and ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical staff at various levels in the organization.
- Experience with change management and user training in healthcare settings.
- Experience in healthcare IT, preferably with EHR systems administration.
- Bachelor's degree in health informatics, Information Technology, or a related field and or equivalent experience/training.
- Ability to think critically and problem solve independently and/or collaboratively as the situation dictates to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
