General Othopaedic Surgeon — Clinical Associate #ORT046
The University of Chicago's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine seeks a Clinical Associate at full-time effort for renewable terms of up to three years.
The appointee will have inpatient and outpatient responsibilities supporting offsite community practices, including the University of Chicago practice site in Crown Point, in Northwest Indiana. This position does not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment, the qualified applicant must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and Indiana, 3) be Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery, 4) have completed an ACGME-approved orthopaedic surgery residency or its equivalent, and 5) have completed an ACGME-approved fellowship or its equivalent in an area directly relevant to the specialization.
