Head Men's & Women's Golf Coach

Job Summary/Basic Function:

About the position:

The Head Men's & Women's Golf Coach is responsible for leading a program that has enjoyed a rich tradition in the PSAC and NCAA Division II. The Coach will direct all phases of the men's & women's golf programs, by establishing and maintaining a high standard of excellence, which includes recruiting academically qualified student athletes, scheduling, scouting, conditioning, supervising the coaching staff, managing the program budget, generating revenue, and other duties assigned. In addition, the Head Coach is responsible for making sure that all duties are executed in compliance with NCAA, PSAC and institutional regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Two years of successful coaching experience at the NCAA collegiate and/or professional level.
• Successful experience and/or knowledge of recruiting prospective student-athletes; specifically in the PA and Mid-Atlantic Region.
• Demonstrated commitment to promoting student-athlete welfare and academic success.
• Successful experience and/or knowledge of fundraising.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate student-athletes.
• Knowledge of and experience supervising staff and managing budgets.
• Evidence of recruiting and working effectively with student-athletes of diverse races and cultures.
• Evidence of complying fully with association and conference regulations.
• Commitment to inclusive practices and working with diverse student populations.
• Valid driver's license.
• Successful interview.
• Successful completion of three background checks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Successful head coaching experience at the NCAA collegiate level.
• Knowledge of the PSAC and Division II men's and women's Golf.
• Master's Degree.
