Health Sciences Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical Professor – Division of Hospital Medicine

The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine is recruiting for a full- or parttime faculty member in the Health Sciences Clinical (HSCP) series at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor rank in Hospital Medicine. Faculty in the HSCP series are expected to engage in teaching, demonstrate professional competence and activity, scholarly or creative work, and University and public service. This position is expected to provide direct patient care and work collaboratively with a diverse group of hospitalists in the inpatient clinical setting across many specialties. A successful candidate will have experience teaching first and second year medical students, at the director level, such as course director or instructor-of-record (IOR) and who are actively working on creative and scholarly work. Hospital Medicine Faculty responsibilities include inpatient clinical care, both with and without housestaff; teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; university/public service; and regular attendance and participation at scheduled meetings and CME activities.
