Hematology/Oncology Assistant Professor at CUIMC
The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, are inviting applications from highly qualified junior and/or midcareer physicians at the Assistant Professor level for the continuing expansion of the hematology/oncology program. We are seeking to recruit new faculty members with strong clinical skills and interests in developing or continuing clinical and/or translational research programs in breast oncology. Being based in a thriving academic community, the program has excellent opportunities for research, clinical research, and education/teaching residents and fellows. The successful candidate/s will be expected to participate in clinical care of patients to contribute to the academic mission of the program in terms of clinical translational and/or basic research as well as to participate in teaching and administrative activities.
Qualifications: M.D. or equivalent medical professional degree is required. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Hematology and/or Oncology and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York.
