The Fundación de Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Universitario de la Princesa is offering a position for a Higher Laboratory Technician for the research unit of the imnnunlogy Service, under the direction of Dr. Noa Beatriz Martín Cófreces.

Skills/Qualifications
a) EDUCATION
- Higher Technician in Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory.
b) EXPERIENCE
Demonstrable experience in:
- Isolation techniques and primary cell culture of human lymphocyte populations, as well as murine and human tumour cell lines.
- Classical biochemistry techniques, immunoprecipitation and immunoelectrophoresis.
- Laboratory management duties (control of reagents and equipment, recording and storage of patient samples and cell lines).
Specific Requirements
OTHER SKILLS
- Experience using advanced fluorescence microscopes.
- Proficiency in microscopy image-analysis software (ImageJ, IMARIS, AIVIA).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (GraphPad, STATA).
- Proficiency in flow cytometry analysis software (FlowJo).
- Publication of methods in scientific journals.
- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Benefits
The selected person will have a full-time dedication of 37.5 hours per week. The salary will be that established in the collective agreement of the “Grupo de Empresas de las Fundaciones de Investigación Biomédica de las Instituciones Sanitarias adscritas al Servicio Madrileño de Salud (SERMAS)” for the requested position.
This contract is established in accordance with of art. 23 bis de la Ley 14/2011 Contrato de actividades científico técnicas: Advanced MIcroscopy for the study of Dynamic innate immunity activation by immunoGENIC cell death, PPR.CAIXA.2023 HR23-00837.
This contract will be funded by the funds from the aforementioned call associated with project PPR.CAIXA.2023HR23-00837.
Eligibility criteria
Scoring Criteria: The evaluation criteria for this offer are as follows, up to a maximum of 20 points.
- Demonstrable experience in statistical analysis for biomedical sciences: up to 2 points.
- Demonstrable experience using advanced fluorescence microscopes: up to 2 points.
- Proficiency in microscopy image-analysis software (ImageJ, IMARIS, AIVIA): 1 point per software package, maximum 3 points.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (GraphPad, STATA): 1 point.
- Proficiency in flow cytometry analysis software (FlowJo): 1 point.
- Publication of methods in scientific journals: 0.5 points per publication, up to a maximum of 2 points.
- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher: 1 point.
- Personal interview: up to 8 points.
Selection process
Applications that meet the qualification requirements and are within the application period will be reviewed by a jury composed of three members (a president and two assessors).
A curriculum evaluation will be conducted for the applications received, where points will be assigned to candidates based on the qualifications presented, according to the requirements specified for the position.
Candidates may subsequently be called for a personal interview.
