Human Resources Assistant
Job Description
- Provides front desk customer service.
- Provides support to department units. Responds to internal and external requests for employee information, including the creation of transaction forms.
- Prepares and sends written correspondence to internal and external customers and responds to routine requests.
- Coordinates the Form I-9 process and serves as the point person for all processing and audits. Maintains hard copy and electronic files. Responds to general questions.
- Coordinates the student and graduate assistant appointments and transaction processes, including data entry and student mass terms. Analyzes, interprets, identifies discrepancies, and resolves problems from source documents.
- Coordinates the electronic personnel file process. Reviews scanning, verifies documents, and audits for errors.
- Coordinates, and participates in additional processes and programs.
Short Job Description
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with word-processing and spreadsheet software.
