Job Description

The IELTS USA Examiner is responsible for assessing the IELTS Speaking module... This position will work approximately 7-12 hours per month... part-time (less than 50%)...

What you will do:

• Conduct International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Speaking tests.
• When required, marking speaking exams for a second time
• Adhere to the IELTS Professional Support Network and the IELTS USA policies and procedures.
• Participate in Examiner meetings and other relevant meetings and training as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• A recognized qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or recognized equivalent...
• IELTS Speaking Examiner Certification.
• At least 3 years' full time (or the equivalent part time) relevant TESOL teaching experience...

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in TESOL, ESL, Linguistics, or English.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to prioritize deadlines.

Conditions of Employment

• This position requires an onsite presence on campus on testing days.
• This position may require working weekends on Saturday and Sunday.
• This position must maintain their certification in the speaking module.
