Job Summary

Responsible for the federally mandated risk-based clearance of any person who enters areas at Augusta University where animals may be present including faculty, staff, students, contractors and visitors. This includes coordinating; maintaining, notifying, tracking, documenting, and updating the IACUC Animal Occupational Health Program, IACUC online training, Cayuse/eSirius accounts and software access and coordinating facility access with Division of Laboratory Animal Services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, process, and monitor the system access for all users...
• Coordinate, process, and monitor the Animal Occupational Health program and risk assessments...
• Coordinate, perform, and monitor the overall clearance and routing processes...
• Additional Duties: Meet with incoming student groups... Review monthly medical evaluation invoices...

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in health sciences, life sciences, or related field and a minimum of 1 year of experience...
Or; An Associate degree... and a minimum of 3 years...

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Research Compliance, IACUC...
• Experience in training and occupational health oversight.
• Experience managing spreadsheets...
• Current standing as a Certified Professional IACUC Administrator (CPIA).
