Job Summary:
The Division of Gynecologic Oncology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has an opening for a full- time faculty at the rank of Instructor or above for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) providing clinical care in gynecologic oncology, including inpatient and outpatient service as a member of the gynecologic oncology practice.
Our practice is largely centered on the Anschutz Medical Campus, at the University of Colorado Hospital but we offer services in the growing Denver metropolitan area and the Rocky Mountain Region. This position would be focused on providing services on the Anschutz Medical Campus and could evolve to include travel to different hospital sites in the greater Denver area and the Colorado region.
Key Responsibilities:
- seeing patients in outpatient clinic prior to chemotherapy and for surveillance visits in patients with gynecologic cancer history
- caring for post operative patients in clinic
- providing support for the patients of the physicians in the gynecologic oncology practice
- Duties may also evolve to include assisting in surgery, rounding on patients in the inpatient setting. Prior knowledge of administration or chemotherapeutic agents is not required but is desirable.
Work Location:
Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed in the State of Colorado.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidates with experience in cancer care and the administration of chemotherapy would be preferred.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
$111,009 to $140,670
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
