Job Summary/Basic Function:

Wheaton College (MA) invites applications for a part-time instructor of Anthropology for the Fall 2025 academic semester to teach one or more of the courses listed below:

ANTH 102 – Introduction to Cultural Anthropology ( catalog description *)

_Meeting days/time:_ Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:00 AM – 12:20 PM

ANTH 230 – Language and Culture ( catalog description *)

_Meeting days/time:_ Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 AM – 10:50 AM

ANTH 301 – Seminar in Anthropological Theory ( catalog description *)

_Meeting days/time:_ Wednesdays, 2:00 PM – 4:50 PM

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s in Anthropology or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Anthropology or related field

The salary for this position will be commensurate with the qualifications, education and experience.
