Insurance Associate (Trainee)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Insurance Associate (Trainee) to join the Procurement and Insurance team in the Finance & Planning Division. Key duties of the role include providing administrative support to the Head of Insurance in controlling the University’s insurance portfolio, monitoring the management of risk across the University and investigating claims. This is a trainee role offering the opportunity to gain a fully funded Level 3 qualification while developing practical skills and experience within an in-house insurance team. This is a full-time post available from 3 November 2025 on an indefinite basis. UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis and may occasionally require attendance at the University on short notice during working hours (for example, in the event of a claim call-out), we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, part time, job share, term-time only and/or hybrid working.
