About the role
The Blavatnik School of Government is looking to recruit an IT Officer to play a vital role within the Blavatnik School of Government’s IT team, providing first-line technical support to staff, students, and visitors. The postholder will address a wide range of issues related to hardware, software, networking, and user access, offering assistance in person, by phone, and via email.
Working hours will be agreed within an 8 am – 6 pm window, reflecting the operational needs of the School. Flexibility will occasionally be required for planned out-of-hours work, and on rare occasions for urgent technical incidents.
The role is fixed term for 2 years and full-time.
About you
We are seeking a highly customer-focused individual with a strong service ethos and excellent communication skills. While prior technical experience is important, full training and support will be provided to help the successful candidate develop in the role. The IT Officer will deliver an outstanding user experience, ensuring that support requests are handled promptly, courteously, and effectively.
