Job Summary:
Provides and manages the planning and coordination for University Academic, Athletic, Performing Arts and internal and external Facility Rental events in designated areas of responsibility. Duties include customer support, AV/IT support, videoconferencing, sound reinforcement, lighting operation, projection, stage management support, and overall event production. This position requires regular evening and weekend work based on event schedules. Strong client-service instincts and relationship-management skills are essential.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years experience supporting venue technologies in a professional or University setting
- Thorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows and/or Apple MacOS operating systems, software application administration, and hardware
- Experience with direct customer support
- Equivalent combination of education and experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with space management and event-scheduling software.
- Experience with technology research, development, evaluation, and procurement.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, service contracts, and equipment lifecycle planning.
- Demonstrated experience operating and supporting professional audio, video, lighting, and control systems for events and performances.
- Experience with radio and wireless communication systems used in event and production environments.
- Familiarity with industry best practices for AV/IT integration in performance, instructional, and event spaces.
- Supervisory experience
- Digital sound consoles, stage boxes, and theatrical audio systems
- Theatrical lighting consoles (ETC or equivalent), DMX control, and intelligent lighting
- Projection systems, media servers, and cueing systems
- Backstage communication systems, intercom, and stage-management tools
- Basic understanding of stagecraft, rigging safety, and production workflows
- Familiarity with industry best practices for AV/IT integration in performance, instructional, and event spaces.
