IT Systems Support Operations (Pediatric Physician's Organization)
Position Summary
Supports end users as well as other members of the PPOC Technical Services team. Assists users by promptly answering questions or resolving problems pertaining to hardware, software, and networking equipment. Provides high-level assistance in specialized or contentious situations. This is a hybrid position based in our Peabody location, and will require frequent travel to Melrose, Stoneham, Lynn, Salem, Newburyport, Haverhill & Rowley locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing onsite support for end user device and networking issues at large (10+ providers), multi-site PPOC practices and other locations as assigned.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for IT support at assigned practices.
- Management of end-user devices, network appliances, domain controllers, and file servers.
- Daily logging of tasks and activities via service management application(s).
- Participation in team meetings and collaboration for upcoming projects.
- Providing prompt and courteous resolution to user requests and issues.
- Providing security, compliance, and HIPAA checks at all practices.
- Management of larger projects or tasks, and coordinating other team members.
- Travel to and between assigned practices at least 50% of the work week.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in the field of Computer Science or a closely related field is required.
Experience: 5 years' relatable experience is required; previous Field Service and/or Systems Administrator experience highly preferred. Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and macOS. Systems & Device Management: Proficient in Active Directory, Windows Server OS, and imaging HP desktops and laptops; experienced with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools for end-user device support and deployment. Security & Networking: Skilled in antivirus and malware protection, VPN setup, TCP/IP networking, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting; familiar with network hardware including routers, switches, and Cisco Meraki devices. Virtualization & Cloud Tools: Knowledgeable in VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft 365 applications; experienced in collaborating across IT and security teams to ensure reliable, secure systems.
