Position Summary

The Junior Data Assistant role encompasses database entry, data quality checking, and data quality improvement and is responsible for providing assistance and support using the Customer Relationship Management database.

This Role will:

• Provide general administrative support and assist with data quality improvement.
• Actively participate in on-the-job training for relevant tasks.
• Perform data quality checks and validation of information from internal systems including Raisers Edge and external sources including the Australian Charities & Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) register, PafGuide, and GiftSearch databases, with escalation to manager if required.
• Exercise judgement and discretion around the classification and retrievability of data filed within the Customer Relationship Management database.
• Assist with data entry for a variety of projects and tasks.
• Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.

A person engaged is generally expected to have the following skills and experience:

• Accurate and efficient data entry skills and experience.
