"Laboratory Technician"

Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Laboratory Technician Research, Addiction, and Decision Neuroscience Lab within Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care. The primary purpose of the Laboratory Technician is to assist with patient recruitment, assessments and daily management of study data for a study.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Assists with patient recruitment, assessments and daily management of study data.
• Assists with scoring and data entry of assessments.
• Assists with online cognitive testing.
• Assists with preliminary data analyses.
• Assists with experimentation and research activities.
• Prepares reports, documents and databases.

Minimum Education and Experience: Associates Degree in a relevant science.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: Standing, sitting, walking, talking or hearing. No special vision requirements. Office environment, moderate noise.
