Lecturer (Below the Bar) in Economics
University College Cork wishes to appoint an academic to the role of Lecturer in Economics. Double accredited by AMBA and AACSB, a PRME Champion and holding an Athena Swan Award, Cork University Business School is one of Ireland’s largest business schools. The Lecturer in Economics will demonstrate a track record of relevant research and teaching experience. Candidates should identify their research outputs to date and demonstrate their ongoing potential to publish in leading international economics journals (3 and 4 star ranked journals by the Chartered Association of Business Schools are preferred), and whose research will be aligned with the United Nations SDGs. Candidates must also demonstrate their experience and/or potential in delivering high quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Candidates with teaching and research experience in any area of economics are encouraged to apply, for example, macroeconomics, applied microeconomics, quantitative economics, economic growth, etc. Candidates should set out how their research may contribute to one or more of the UCC Futures and/or the school’s proposed new strategic research centre on the Future of Work and Economies.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer (Below the Bar) Salary Scale: €41,685 - €71,735 (Scale B) / €43,732 - €68,260 (Scale A).
