Lecturer (Below the Bar) in Human Resource Management & the Future of Work

University College Cork wishes to appoint an academic to the role of Lecturer Below the Bar in Human Resource Management & the Future of Work. Double-accredited by AMBA and AACSB, a PRME Champion and holding an Athena Swan Award, Cork University Business School is one of Ireland’s largest business schools. Our school seeks to shape leaders for a sustainable future and is committed to providing a dynamic, supportive and inclusive learning, teaching, research and working environment, which recognises the diverse backgrounds and interests of both students and staff.

The Lecturer Below the Bar in Human Resource Management & the Future of Work will demonstrate a track record of relevant research and teaching experience. Candidates should identify their research outputs to date and demonstrate their ongoing potential to publish in leading international journals (3 and 4-star ranked journals by the Chartered Association of Business Schools are preferred). Candidates must also demonstrate their experience and/or potential in delivering high quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Candidates should set out how their research may contribute to one or more of the UCC Futures and/or the school’s proposed new strategic research centre on the Future of Work and Economies. We are especially interested in receiving applications from those researching the changing nature of employment relations and work, the future of work, technologization of work, global HRM, and sustainable HRM.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer (Below the Bar) Salary Scale: €41,685 - €71,735 (Scale B) / €43,732 - €68,260 (Scale A).

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
