Lecturer in Criminology
The University of Bradford is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Lecturer in Criminology on a fixed-term basis for three years within the Faculty of Management, Law and Social Sciences, School of Social Sciences.
What you will be doing: You will contribute to existing degree programmes, including Foundation Year and Undergraduate degrees, working within a team of highly skilled academics to strengthen the subjects.
Qualifications/Experience: Candidates should have, or be close to completing, a PhD in Criminology or a related field. Evidence of delivering excellent, research-informed teaching is required, along with a desire to undertake doctoral-level supervision. Scholarship in Criminology is essential, including delivering content to non-academic audiences. Preference for expertise in areas such as Employability, Social inequalities, Crime and 'race', Cybercrime, Organised Crime, Policing, Punishment, or Quantitative Research Methodologies.
