Lecturer in the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures
Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures. The position will be responsible for teaching Chinese language classes in a classroom setting to graduate and undergraduate students during the academic year. The position will be responsible for effectively teaching courses, developing multi-media teaching materials, develop and maintain student engagement programs, and participate in department governance and university service. A Master’s degree in Chinese Linguistics, Chinese Literature or a closely related field (or foreign equivalent) is required. Position also requires 1 year of experience teaching Chinese language at the college-level. Must be fluent in English and Chinese language to effectively teach courses.
