Lecturer of Italian

The Department of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at the University of Oklahoma seeks applications for one full-time faculty of Italian starting August 16th, 2026.

Responsibilities

The successful candidates will teach 22 to 26 credit hours every year, typically three to four courses per semester, primarily from Beginning to Advanced Italian.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in hand in Italian language, literature, linguistics, applied linguistics or a related field at the time of appointment. Applicants must have native or near-native proficiency in Italian.
