Lecturer — Sociology (Counseling Minor)

The School of Humanities and Sciences is creating a pool of qualified part-time lecturers in the Department of Sociology for an opening to teach a course in the counseling minor, which examines and contextualizes mental health in historical and sociological perspectives.

Position/Job Qualifications:

Applicants are required to hold a master’s degree. Professional experience in social work or related field and college teaching experience preferred.

Part-time or adjunct bargaining unit employees are all part-time faculty employed by Ithaca College at its Ithaca, New York campus including but not limited to faculty in the titles of Lecturer or Adjunct. Hiring rate: $1,999.27 per credit hour.
