The Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology is seeking applications for a 66.67% LEO Lecturer I position teaching BIOLOGY 173, Introductory Biology Lab. The appointment is for Spring Half Term 2026 only (May 5 - June 25, 2026).
Terms and conditions of employment for this position as posted are subject to the provisions of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the University of Michigan and the Lecturers Employee Organization.
The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field and be knowledgeable in the topics covered in the course BIOLOGY 173 "Introductory Biology Lab" at the University of Michigan.
Qualified candidates should be fluent in the area of expertise and exhibit evidence of excellent teaching skills.
The appointment opportunity has been approved by the academic unit, Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
