The Department of Business at Illinois College invites applications for a full-time position in Accounting to begin Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. Teaching responsibilities include the ability to teach a variety of courses within the Accounting major and providing support for other Business majors, which together are the highest enrolled majors at the College. Additional duties include contribution to the ongoing development of the business programs at the College, including online; student advising and mentoring; scholarly engagement; and community involvement. The successful candidate will have a commitment to undergraduate teaching, and demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

A Master’s degree in Accounting is required. Undergraduate teaching experience, professional experience, and a CPA license is strongly preferred.

Candidates interested in full-time or part-time (2/3) contracts are encouraged to apply. Full-time faculty teach 3 courses per semester, and part-time (2/3) faculty teach 2 classes per semester. Both positions are benefits eligible. Courses will be taught primarily on-campus with some online courses possible.
