Job Summary:
There is a full-time (1.0 FTE) faculty position at the rank of Senior Instructor. The candidate will be expected to provide independent clinical services, supervise advanced practice providers and nurses in providing independent clinical care for patients and direct medical students and urology residents in all aspects of clinical urology. These duties will include clinic and inpatient and outpatient surgeries primarily at University of Colorado Hospital - Highlands Ranch Medical Center. It is also expected that the candidate will collaborate with other members of the Division of Urology and Department of Surgery in the development of comprehensive urologic facilities and services in the South Denver Metropolitan Area. Close collaboration with colleagues, hospital and clinic staff will be necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for independent clinical services
- Collaborate with other members of the Division of Urology and Department of Surgery in the development of comprehensive urologic facilities and services in the South Denver Metropolitan Area.
- Supervise advanced practice providers and nurses in providing independent clinical care for patients
- Direct medical students and urology residents in all aspects of clinical urology.
- Perform clinic as well as inpatient and outpatient surgeries primarily at University of Colorado Hospital - Highlands Ranch Medical Center
- Close collaboration with colleagues, hospital and clinic staff will be necessary.
Work Location:
Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- Medical Degree from an accredited school of medicine
- Board certified or board eligible in urology
- Ability to obtain license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado with prescriptive privileges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in urology clinical care
- Ability to communicate clearly as an integral member of a team
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with a diverse professional and patient population.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients and their family members, medical staff, residents, fellows, medical students, and the public.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
$420,000 - $450,000
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
