Position Summary: The College of the Holy Cross Visual Arts Program is seeking professional life models to pose for drawing, painting, and sculpture courses. Life models play a vital role in helping students develop an understanding of human anatomy, proportion, form, and movement through direct observation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pose for art classes in a variety of short and long poses as directed by the instructor.
• Maintain poses for specified periods while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Work collaboratively with faculty and students in a professional academic setting.
• Model in a range of attire, including clothed and nude poses, as appropriate for the instructional goals of the course.

Qualifications:

• Ability to hold poses for extended periods.
• Comfort and professionalism in posing for both clothed and nude sessions.
• Punctuality, reliability, and respect for the classroom environment.
• Prior experience as a life model or background in the arts is helpful but not required.

Work Environment: Modeling sessions take place in supervised, professional classroom settings focused exclusively on artistic study. The environment is respectful, inclusive, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism at all times.
