About the Role

The Manager, EIX Service Delivery & Enablement is a fixed-term role established to support key service delivery and transformation initiatives aligned with the University’s Ad Astra 2030 strategy. Reporting to the Deputy Director, EIX Planning, Engagement and Operations, the role leads the development and implementation of service delivery frameworks, systems and processes, while driving a coordinated program of service improvement and business transformation across the EIX function.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the position oversees end-to-end service design, system enhancement and delivery activities to improve operational effectiveness, service quality and user experience outcomes. The role works closely with EIX leadership, the Education Transformation Implementation Team (ETIT), the Delivery Management Office (DMO) and key enabling functions to ensure alignment across transformation initiatives and organisational priorities. It also provides strategic advice and reporting on performance, risks and improvement outcomes to governance and executive stakeholders.

About You

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage resources (people, budget and priorities) in a complex environment, including strategic planning, quality assurance and delivery governance
  • Extensive experience in service design, service improvement and business/process improvement, with demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high-quality, customer-focused services to a range of stakeholders
  • Proven people leadership capability, including performance development, coaching, workforce planning and building an inclusive, high-performing team culture
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement, discretion and autonomy within delegated authority, including acting for senior leaders when required
