Manager Facilities And Building Operations - Washington DC
The Manager, Facilities and Building Operations provides leadership, management, and oversight on maintenance and administration of the building, including safety, security, parking, lease management, and utilities at the UC Washington Center. Responsibilities include coordinating resources for residential life, housing programs, guest faculty, graduate fellows, and other guests. The role involves managing licensing agreements, housing contracts, and ensuring compliance with policies for facility use and occupancy. Primary duties encompass long-range planning of maintenance and housing budgets, facility operations, auxiliary services administration, and housing and occupancy administration.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage contracted services for security, custodial, and maintenance.
- Prepare annual operating budgets and long-range major maintenance plans.
- Oversee auxiliary services like parking and event space rentals.
- Administer housing assignments and occupancy reports.
Required qualifications include a minimum of 8 years of administrative management experience, knowledge of building systems and safety requirements, strong communication and budgeting skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training.
Salary: $147,000 - $167,000 annually. Location: Washington DC.
