Overview

The Bendheim Center for Finance is an interdisciplinary center of Princeton University. It draws its faculty from several departments across Princeton University with the majority coming from economics and ORFE. The center provides a fertile ground for cutting-edge research at the intersection between finance, monetary economics, and macroeconomics, with a special emphasis on financial frictions, behavioral finance as well as financial econometrics. The Center offers 2 academic degrees: an undergraduate minor in finance (UMF) and a Master in Finance (MFin) degree

Responsibilities

The manager of Career Development and External Relations will be responsible for all placement activities of the Center, including preparing MFIN and Undergraduate students for careers in finance. This includes the mentoring of students to be career ready and networking with recruiting partners and organization of regular speaking events, bringing alumni and corporate partners to campus for recruiting events, leadership and career development events, and boot camp. Work in partnership with Career Services as well as many other campus groups. Network with Wall Street and the financial community (including major investment banks, leaders in finance, alumni, students, faculty, campus partners, and government officials) to drive the recruiting efforts for the Master in Finance (MFIN) Program. Manage, strengthen and maintain the Center's relationships with the alumni connection and University Career Services. Together with the faculty, select each incoming MFIN class to be career ready; and act as a member of the MFIN admissions committee (along with Director of Center, Graduate Program Director). Conduct reviews of candidate files with a diversity focus as well as take lead on prospective student interview. Candidate will work alongside the Communications Specialist to drive alumni/corporate relations. Act as backup content creator to BCF Twitter feed as well as oversee the Math Assessment and Quant Camp programs.

Salary Range

$100,000 to $111,000
