The Opportunity
The Marketing Project Coordinator is a pivotal member of the Marketing Projects and Brand Management team, responsible for supporting the successful planning, execution, and delivery of all marketing projects. This role applies formal project management methodologies to oversee multiple concurrent projects through their full lifecycle from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring and closeout.
The Marketing Project Coordinator collaborates closely with internal teams, vendors and university stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within scope and schedule. He/she would serve as a liaison across other departments to ensure project expectations are being met. This position should demonstrate effective communication, identify and mitigate risks, maintain documentation and organization in order to provide regular progress reporting to leadership.
Essential Job Duties:
- Project Planning and Lifecycle Management: Review incoming project tickets, create projects in Teamwork and manage project plans, schedules and deliverables. Define audience, scope, objectives and timelines for new projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as liaison among department teams and external vendors to ensure seamless communication, timely approvals and stakeholder satisfaction. Lead project status meetings and document the statuses of projects and action plans.
- Information Maintenance: Manage and update online degree playbooks, project calendars, and related databases to ensure all information and assets remain accurate and current.
- Performance Reporting and Analytics: Collaborate with marketing directors to monitor project performance and produce monthly reports that highlight project completion.
- Continuous Improvement and Support: Support ongoing process enhancements, software optimization and documentation of best practices within the project management framework. Assist with department-wide initiatives and campaigns as needed.

Qualifications
Required Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with an area of concentration in Marketing, Communications, or Related Discipline.
Required skills, knowledge, abilities:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience working in higher education, marketing agency a plus
- Confidence and proficiency working in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of project management software, such as Teamwork, Asana or Wrike.
- Strong understanding of processes and timelines
- Strong project management skills
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of the marketing team
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously with demanding deadlines
- Must be extremely detail-oriented

- Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
