Description

The MCPHS University / Atrius Health Pharmacy Practice Residency is a structured, one-year postgraduate educational and training experience that fosters the development of advanced knowledge and skill in the delivery of pharmaceutical services within a managed care organization.

The fundamental goal of the residency is to attract and develop pharmacists whose talents and motivation indicate a strong potential for assuming leadership roles in managed care organization pharmacy services.

The residency consists of experiences and rotations in key areas of clinical practice, administration, and academia. The pharmacy resident will also serve as an Instructor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at MCPHS-Boston and will gain teaching experience in a variety of settings.

Requirements

Required:

• A PharmD degree from a college or university accredited by ACPE
• Eligibility for MA pharmacy licensure

Compensation

The pay range associated with this posting reflects the amount the University reasonably expects to pay for this role at this time. Salary offers are determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications as well as internal equity, market data and pay in comparison to similarly situated employees doing comparable work.

Hiring Range: $51,000
