Job Description Summary / TWC Summary Under general supervision is responsible to enhance and support student academic success through mentorship, programming, partnerships and tutorials. The overall goal is to ensure each student matriculates to the next classification, and eventually complete their degree plan in a timely manner.
Essential Duties Summary
- Coordinates tutorial services for special populations, i.e., pharmacy majors, and others.
- Manages work schedules, provide consistent reporting on subject availability; performs employee evaluations and quality of services offered.
- Creates and enforces a professional environment in which team members understand the importance of accountability, organizational structure, customer service, and are held to the employee handbook and contract.
- Consistently assess the tutor program from all angles; reviews data reports to ensure tutorial services are meeting University and departmental standards.
- Designs and facilitates team member trainings, meetings throughout the semester covering best practices and theory.
- Maintains, updates and processes payroll and process employment forms. Creates checks and balances to ensure department is in compliance based on University standards.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range $55,038.89 - $70,174.59
Education Some college or Associate’s degree (A.A.).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Federal, State, Local, and County laws.
- Policies, procedures, and practices.
- Demonstrates expert knowledge in multiple disciplines. Acts as the ultimate subject matter expert in several professional disciplines and is the “go-to” expert on principles, methods and procedures. Requires the ability to create methods and approaches to handle unique situations.
- Management and supervisory practices.
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.
Skill in:
- Detail oriented.
- Effective customer service.
- Problem-solving and decision-making.
- Multitasking and time management.
- Strong analytical.
- Both verbal and written communication.
Ability to:
- Use job-related software and similar HRIS system.
- Prepare detailed reports.
Work Experience Three (3) years to five (5) years of related experience. Ability to maintain the security or integrity of critical infrastructure, which may include communications systems, computer networks and systems, cybersecurity systems, electrical grid, hazardous waste treatment or water treatment system.
Working/Environmental Conditions Routine office environment. Sitting or standing in one location much of the time. Some stooping, lifting or carrying objects light weight may be required. Use of video display terminal.
