About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to develop UCL Faculty of Engineering Science’s engagement with industry and innovation audiences, focusing on strategic domains that span multiple Departments of the Faculty and more widely across UCL as appropriate.

You will be part of a team of two people, where your specific area of focus will be Robotics and Automation as well as input into the following domains:

  • Future propulsion, fuels, and energy
  • Sustainable Aviation and Aerospace
  • Future Compute

The post holder should have excellent people and organisational skills and be prepared to engage with a diverse group of partners, speaking with academics and Industry. They should be approachable, familiar with technology, communications tools, and event organisation.

Ideally, candidates will have a special interest in one of the priority domains and/or emerging technologies.

About you

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following criteria:

  • Either experience of working in and/or with Higher Education or research organisations or experience in industry and/or government with a focus on science, engineering, or technology.
  • Experience of creating partner communication assets and arranging events to deliver strategic objectives.
  • Ability to research and extrapolate information using the internet and databases.
  • Able to organise seminars, workshops and talk to technical audiences.
