The Division of General Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) has a faculty opening for a Clinician Investigator. This position can be Open Rank, Fixed Term, Tenure/Tenure Track or Variable Track. The position is expected to dedicate the majority of time to research, but also to contribute to the clinical service and education missions of the Division. This position will facilitate patient care, superior teaching and impactful research. This position will also include clinic and precepting residents.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: M.D. and be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine. Completion of an accredited residency program.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience: Prior experience in Patient Centered Medical Home Clinic and multi-disciplinary practice, experience teaching and development of quality improvement processes are desirable.

We will foster programs in the areas of basic, translational, mechanistic, and population research.
