About the Opportunity

The School of Nursing in the Bouve College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University has developed a research-intensive/teaching/learning environment for students and faculty. The School of Nursing invites applications for full time (52 week) Open Rank Non Tenure Track Faculty positions with an anticipated start date of July 2026. This position will support the hybrid Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The role requires regular on campus presence in Charlotte to support program operations, student learning, and collaboration with faculty within the nursing program.

Qualifications

• Possess a terminal degree in Nursing or related field, or matriculate into a terminal degree program before or immediately following appointment
• Evidence of an established area of research and scholarship, teaching excellence, and demonstrated excellence and commitment to supporting faculty, staff, and student environments.
• Hold an active unencumbered license or multistate licensure privilege to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina by appointment start date
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence in undergraduate and/or graduate nursing education
• Satisfy the North Carolina Board of Nursing requirements to teach in a pre-licensure nursing program
• Current or recent clinical expertise in psychiatric-mental health nursing
