Open Rank - Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT)

Position Summary

Primary responsibilities will include graduate teaching and supervising master’s level practicum students, as well as assisting the program director with various program and departmental duties (i.e. advising, recruitment, accreditation, assessment, clinical/practicum coordination).

Oregon Tech offers innovative and rigorous applied degree programs. To foster student and graduate success, the university provides an intimate, hands-on learning environment, focusing on application of theory to practice. The MFT program is housed in Oregon Tech’s Humanities and Social Sciences department – a collegial environment that encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, particularly between healthcare and the social sciences. With a commitment to diversity, the MS MFT program has a strong curriculum informed by the needs of under-served rural populations in southern Oregon and northern California. These populations include Klamath Tribal families, migratory farm worker families, and families struggling with multi-generational poverty.

The Oregon Tech MS MFT program is poised to begin the accreditation process. Candidates with experience with this process are encouraged to apply. Please highlight any experiences with the accreditation process in your materials.
