Open Rank Tenured or Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Physical Therapy
Binghamton University's Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Division of Physical Therapy, is hiring for its Physical Therapy program. The successful candidate will have a PhD or DSc in physical therapy, rehabilitation sciences, biomechanics or related field and have an active research agenda. Research focuses on musculoskeletal and orthopedic domains, with experience working with related patient populations. Responsibilities include teaching in the musculoskeletal track, curriculum development, advising students, research, and service.
The Motion Analysis Research Lab (MARL) provides resources for research on gait, balance, biomechanics, and more. The division is expanding with new facilities and a planned physical therapy clinic.
Qualifications include a PhD or DSc, research experience, publications, grant funding, and excellent skills. Preferred: NY State physical therapy license and teaching experience.
