Operations Area Manager – Parking Facilities & Systems
Position Summary:
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Operations Area Manager – Parking Facilities & Systems for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O).
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Responsible for all facets of parking facility maintenance university wide.
- Oversees daily operations, maintenance, and safety of parking decks, surface lots, access control systems, gates, pay stations, signage, striping, lighting, and related infrastructure. Supervises operational and liaisons with Facilities maintenance personnel and vendors performing planned, preventive, and emergency work.
- Provides project management leadership for assigned initiatives by coordinating planning, schedules, resources, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with operational and organizational objectives.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience, and a minimum of five years' experience in institutional project work or maintenance field.
