Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Information Systems and Security for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in information systems, cybersecurity, fintech, or healthcare management and informatics.
- Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
To teach undergraduate courses:
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in information systems or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
- OR
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
To teach graduate courses:
- A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in information systems or a related discipline is required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, PCIP, or equivalent.
- Willingness to teach in face-to-face or hybrid modalities.
